A couple of days ago, Dwight and I were talking about this outreach and we both expressed a strong desire to have a supply of Bibles ready to send out to people we come in contact with. People who have lots of questions about Christianity, and people who have recently made Christ Lord of their lives. We agreed that it was also important to us to be able to personalize each Bible with highlighted Scriptures that would help them in their search and walk. We don’t get paid for our ministry or maintaining this blog, but it was our prayer that at some point in the future the Lord would supply the funds for the Bibles. And then the new school year started, and there were a million things to get for the boys. So we put this desire on the back burner, and moved on.
Then, as God usually does things, we received a wonderful contribution out of the blue. So tomorrow, we will be heading to the bookstore to purchase some Bibles to send out! Praise the Lord! And thank you to my dear father-in-law for joining with us to make this happen.
Listen… if you don’t think your donation means anything, guess again! God knows where our hearts are, and He knows it is our desire to spread the Word. He also knows our budget limitations (and our monthly grocery bill!). But we are confident that He is more than able to make this happen. So again, we thank all of our brothers and sisters who have contributed to this ministry. Every donation helps–however big or small! It has and will be used to further the Gospel.
More than anything, though, we ask for your continued prayers. They are more precious than gold!
“Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.” – Philippians 1:3
God bless you,
