Praise the Lord! Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of sonofaparson.com! When we started this blog a year ago, we had no idea where it would take us. The biggest reason being that it was not about us, but about what God was doing in and through us as we obeyed His calling. So many amazing events have occurred over the past year–far too many to include in one short note. But suffice it to say we have come a long way in a short period of time. We have made some incredible new friends around the world: thousands of brothers and sisters in Christ we may never meet in person (until we meet in Glory) have visited the blog and read our posts. If there was a theme verse to our ministry, it would definitely be Jeremiah 29:11, because God certainly has plans for each of our lives–amazing plans for those who place their faith in Christ Jesus. As the Master Author, He wrote our stories before time began, and they unfold in His perfect time. And praise God, this new chapter has been more glorious than we could have possibly imagined. We cannot wait to see what He has planned for us in year 2!
Along with a few new site updates, we have also added a Press section to the blog. Please take a few moments to check it out and let us know what you think! And as always, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your prayers, support, and encouragement. You have made this year amazing beyond our wildest dreams.
